Hi, I’m Makenzie Simpson, founder of The Charleston Host.
I moved to Charleston and quickly noticed how much time visitors spend figuring out the little things: where to eat, what to stock, what to book, and how to make the most of their stay. I’ve always enjoyed being the person who keeps things organized, makes the plans, and takes care of the details, so creating The Charleston Host felt like a natural fit.
With a background in executive assistance and concierge work for private villas in Belize, I’ve had the opportunity to help guests from all over the world create memorable stays. I wanted to bring that same level of personalized service to Charleston.
Whether it’s having a fully stocked fridge waiting when you arrive, securing a dinner reservation, planning a special celebration, or helping you find the perfect way to spend your day, my goal is to make your Charleston stay feel easy and effortless.
